Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Lhovon Ventures Corp., operating as “made for u”. We call ourselves “we” and “us”. We call you “you”.

When you make an account or use made for u, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data. It is part of this agreement.

Who can use made for u

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or a guardian.

You must be able to make this agreement where you live, and you must not be barred from using the app under any law that applies to you.

Your account

Give us a real email address and keep it current. It is how we reach you and how you get back in if you forget your password.

Your account is yours alone. Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away at hello@madeforu.app if you think someone else has got in.

What the app does

You share a makeup video from TikTok or Instagram. We read what is spoken in it, find the products it mentions, and let you save them to a wishlist or to your kit.

made for u is free to use today. There are no purchases inside the app. If that changes, we will tell you first, and we will never charge you without your agreement.

made for u does not sell makeup, does not ship anything, and is not a shop.

The links you share

You choose which videos to share with us. Only share links you are allowed to share. Do not use the app to copy content in a way that breaks the law or breaks the rules of the platform the video came from.

We do not download or store the video. We store the link, the details around it, and a transcript of what is said. You keep whatever rights you have in anything you send us. You give us permission to process it only so that we can run the app for you.

If you are a creator and you want a transcript of your video removed, email us and we will remove it.

Extraction is not perfect

The product list comes from an automatic system reading a transcript. It gets things wrong. It can miss a product, invent a shade that was never said, pick the wrong brand, or misread a name that sounds like another one.

Check the product before you buy it. Treat what the app gives you as a starting point for your own shopping, never as a verified fact. We are not responsible for a purchase you make on the strength of an extracted result.

Nothing in the app is beauty, medical, or allergy advice. Read the real ingredient list on the real product, especially if you have sensitive skin or a known allergy.

Brands, creators, and platforms

We are not connected to TikTok, Instagram, Meta, or any beauty brand. We are not sponsored by them and we do not act for them. Brand names and product names belong to their owners, and we use them only to describe the product.

No brand pays us to appear in your results. If that ever changes, we will label it clearly.

Fair use of the app

Please do not:

• break into, overload, or probe the app or our backend
• use scripts or bots to import at a scale a person could not
• copy our catalogue out of the app to build a competing product
• use the app to break a law, or to harass or harm another person
• pretend to be someone else, or use another person's account
• take apart the app to find out how it works, where the law allows us to say so

If you do any of this, we may suspend or close your account.

Who owns what

The app, this website, the name, the logo, the design, and the code are ours. These terms give you permission to use the app on your own devices, for yourself. They give you nothing else.

Your library is yours. Your wishlist, your kit, and the videos you chose to import stay yours, and you can ask for a copy or ask us to delete them at any time.

Changes and availability

We are a small team and made for u is early. Features will change. Some will go away. The app may be down for maintenance, or because a service we depend on is down.

We do not promise the app will always be available, and we may stop offering it. If we shut it down, we will give you notice and a way to take your data with you.

Ending your account

You can stop using made for u whenever you want. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@madeforu.app. We do it within 30 days.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we have to for a legal or a security reason. Where we can, we will tell you why first.

No warranty

We give you made for u as it is. We do not promise it will be free of errors, always available, or right about any particular product. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties.

Some places do not allow that exclusion. If you live in one of them, this section applies to you only as far as the law there permits, and nothing here removes a right you cannot give up.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data, or money you spent on a product because the app said something about it.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law says cannot be limited.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the courts located there, except where the law that applies to you says otherwise.

If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Economic Area, you keep the protection of the law where you live, and you may bring a claim in your own local courts.

Changes to these terms

We will update this page when the terms change, and change the date at the top. For a change that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms.
